Christmas Shopping Bangkok is the perfect place to do your Christmas shopping, but even if youve already bought your gifts, a wander around Bangkoks famous shopping districts is still an amazing experience! Central World, Siam Paragon and the other main shopping areas are a treat at this time of year, so dont miss out on the light displays in this part of town. And dont miss out on the Bangkok Illumination festival around the EM District area (near the Emporium) and Benjasiri Park which runs from 1 December until 3 January 2016.
Christmas Dining Thai food is fantastic every day of the year, but if youre looking for something a little more traditional for your Christmas lunch or dinner, you wont be disappointed with what youll find in Bangkok on Christmas day. All the pubs around Silom and Sukhumvit put on Christmas fare, but as these tend to get sold out quickly youre advised to book in advance. And many restaurants, predominantly Western restaurants, put on Christmas buffets and set meals also, so youll find yourself spoiled for choice. Some of the most popular buffet and set meal offerings are found at the Dubliner, Bourbon Street and Molly Malones.
