MBK

Probably one of the most well-known department stores in Bangkok, Ma Boon Khrong is where you can find a wide variety of goods, both real brand items and cheaper copies. In the electronic floor (4th) for example, there are licensed distributors of mobile phones, cameras and gadgets, existing alongside pop-up stalls selling cheaper copied versions of the same items. It is the best place to buy various accessories for your mobile phone as they sell screen protectors, cases and much more at a very cheap price. MBK also has a cinema and a bowling alley on the top floor, which is also made up of with various chain restaurants. The ground floor of MBK also has deals and promotions on brands and items throughout the year at flash sales. While bargaining here is sometimes accepted with large purchases from a store, most of the stores have fixed prices on their items, but if they do not then bargaining is acceptable. MBK is connected to the BTS from the 3rd floor, making it easily accessible by skywalk. There are also branded retail stores in MBK but most people prefer to purchase from local retail store owners here.

As well as shopping, one of the most well-received food courts (6th floor) is in the building, with a wide variety of cuisine choices where the quality far surpasses the price. On occasion, MBK or promotional partner may hold free Muay Thai fights and other cultural events outside the mall.
